My Motion already belongs to someone else!

If your Motion Sensor shows this error message, please check two things:

  1. Make sure that you've connected with the right account. Are you sure that you did connect with your email address and not via Facebook or vice versa? Did you maybe use a different email address?
  2. The sensor is connected to one single account. If you choose the wrong account, the sensor will tell you it already belongs to someone else.
  3. If you are sure you are using the right account, please check if you have the right sensor and not the one of a friend for instance.

If you are sure that it is the right account and the right sensor and you still cannot connect, please contact us at contact@equisense.com.

We will be able to solve the problem faster if you include your EQS number "EQS XXXXXXX" and the email address that you use to connect to the Equisense App in the email.
